Kinetic drawing offers an expanded experience of dance, preserving the ephemeral nature while offering an artifact that remains. I birth visual art through movement, instinct, and research concepts that live inside my process and are visible in the smudges, arcs and timestamp of the charcoal left behind on the paper. The body is the medium, the art lives inside multi-faceted capturings of the event: the photos, video, the artwork and the memories of those who witnessed the live creation. My approach questions how we see dance, visual art and the body.
